Privacy Policy

Spotlister ("we", "us", or "our") is a Chrome extension built and operated by Tinkrd LLC. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What We Collect

Spotlister collects only what is necessary to function:

• Listing content you submit: When you click "Read Listing" or "Optimize," your Etsy listing title, tags, and description are sent to our backend to be processed by Claude (Anthropic's AI). This data is not stored after the response is returned.
• Photos you upload: If you use the Photo Critique feature, your uploaded image is sent to our backend and Claude for analysis. It is not stored after the response is returned.
• Trial run count: Stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local. We do not have access to this data.
• Subscription status: Managed by ExtensionPay. We receive only whether your subscription is active. No payment card data passes through us.

2. What We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or any personal identifiable information unless you contact us directly.
• We do not store your Etsy listing content on our servers.
• We do not track your browsing history.
• We do not sell any data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic (Claude): Listing content and photos are processed by Anthropic's API. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
• ExtensionPay: Subscription billing. See ExtensionPay's privacy policy.
• Netlify: Our backend functions are hosted on Netlify. Standard server logs may include IP addresses. See Netlify's privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

We do not retain listing content or photos beyond the duration of a single API request. Subscription status and trial run counts are stored only locally in your browser.

5. Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use of Spotlister after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
